We love when our clients want to get fun promo items! Got these in today for the EMI “Play Hard, Play Safe” campaign – an effort to keep children out of Maui cane roads and ditches. Coming to a youth center near you!

We’ve been working hard lately! But we’ve been playing hard too, and one of our favorite new lunch/pau hana spots is 808 on Main.
We were lucky enough to work together with 808 on their branding (logo, signage, menus, and more) and environmental graphics.
Located in the heart of Wailuku, 808 on Main serves lunch, dinner and dangerously good cocktails. Their sandwiches and paninis are solid, and their pupus list is full of classics with creative twists on them. Combine that with a cool atmosphere, generous portions and reasonable prices, and a super friendly staff and you’ve got the perfect recipe.
With 808 being within walking distance from our office, we’ve become menu experts (somewhat). Here’s our Sae Design menu favorites:
Kimchi Pork Balls & Maker’s Smash
Kimchi Pork Balls, McKenzie Salad & Main Street Mule
Ni’ihau Lamb Nachos (and I normally do NOT eat Lamb) & Main Street Mule!
Spicy Ranch Panini & their curated selection of fries
Spicy Tuna Sandwich
Lamb Lettuce Wraps & Wailuku Sour
Shitake Beef Melt & Maker’s Smash
So if you’re looking for something new for lunch or dinner or if you just want to take a load off after work, head down to 808 on Main. There’s a good chance you’ll see one of us there!

I was lucky enough to go on retreat in Southern France led by a graphic designer & yoga teacher I idolize that encompassed all my favorite things: art, yoga, writing, music and WINE. I got to stay in a beautiful castle and met incredible people from around the globe.

The ceviche and Pisco Sours were tasty, but the Andes were the highlight for sure. Found a Peruvian mountain guide + donkey escort (muchas gracias, Hector!) and headed into the Cordillera Blanca for a couple weeks of amazing hiking and ice climbing.
